Why do you sing? I sing to express my emotions, but more than that, to share them with others. My true musical passion is singing in groups, and I think creating beautiful harmonies or just beautiful, unison melodies is one of the best ways to connect with other people. |
When did you start singing?
I started singing before I started remembering; in other words, I don't remember a time in my life when I wasn't. I learned to harmonize to pop songs on the radio that I didn't understand the words to. Really, though, I started choir in high school and then sang in an acappella group in college. What would you tell someone who's thinking of taking voice lessons? To do it! Voice lessons help not only technically, but in other ways as well. They help you build confidence in your voice, get used to an audience, expand your range and style, and so much more. |
